AI to Solve Pothole Problems
Bringing 3D Innovative Pothole Technology to Ports
Potholes and road surface repairs are always a pain point for anyone, especially at commercial ports. GPC in partnership with Intel are running a research and development project to prove the effectiveness of their 3D Pothole software at DP World Southampton.
GPCs highways measure is a 3D innovative solution that uses Intel®RealSense Technology to capture pothole data across the port. With mounting capability to the DP World straddle carriers, GPC will continuously gather 3D data to identify and notify DP World engineers of pothole damage across the port surfaces. This data will allow DP World to proactively manage their terminal surface repair and maintenance.
